145:365 Sunset

Anna: We were out this evening and returning to our car when I noticed the sunset, so off we headed to see if I could get any decent photos. Of all the ones I took, these two, taken out my window as we were turning to go back home, captured it best.

It's almost hard to believe they were taken one right after the other, the light looks so different.

That is something, how different the two shots are. That's the thing about sunsets and sunrises, you have to grab your camera FAST and catch it.

These are lovely, both.

both are really nice shots, and I love/am frustrated by the swiftly changing nature of that light!

Wow, they are both beautiful shots. I can't believe how quickly the light can change sometimes.

This is an "Off Topic Comment" but...I seem to have lost my knack for posting/commenting in 'Blog Land,' for a while. All I do lately, is put up a few photos, here and there. I didn't plan on it... It just happened.

And since I don't want anyone to think I got *uppity* or anything, :-) I'm leaving this comment, to explain my absence.

I'm sure to be back in not too long. Can't keep a "Chatty Person" quiet, for too long. :-)

Cool shots... And as to why they look so different -- I think digital cameras have minds of their own, frequently changing their minds as to what they think they are seeing... (automatic white-balance, and all that stuff)

Yeah - I think what made the difference in these two as I took them is that the sun is behind a tree in one, so the camera was reading it differently.

Which is fine by me. ;-)
