2:365 updated -Tree & tree bark

(Philippe) This tree was looking pretty dead, with large chunks of bark actually falling off.. I had to put the camera on tripod (early morning, low light) and guess at the alignment since the tripod was still only about 12 inches from the ground.

Philippe and I both ended up on a tree theme today, it seems. :-D It was a beautiful day to be outside for a walk. I took mine in the afternoon and found this.

I love the super-macro setting on my camera. Love-it-love-it-love-it!

I like the bear head shape at the top.

Wow, you are getting great pictures with a point and shoot. I have a cannon point and shoot also and enjoy it, but your pictures are really nice.

Cool, Gawdess - I hadn't even noticed that until you mentioned it!

Thanks, ttj - I've been really happy with what I've been able to do with it.

Great photos, both of you. I also like my digital camera way too much. For me, it allows my creative and curious selves a chance to get out there and do/be, thank goodness.
