3:365 - Night sky and Jade beads

This was supposed to be part of a stitch of the night sky, but my software expired.. :P Still, I like the steam and the gradient of the sky. :)

My elder daughter has a collection of minerals and stones of various types. Most are in their raw, natural state, but there are a few that are tumbled. Then there's these - a collection of small carved jade beads (there's actually a second leaf pendant outside of this shot).

My favorite is the carp.

both great shots. I love the tiny band of colors in the night sky shot.

I like the detail on that fish and the contrast between the smooth surfaces of the jade and the rougher seeming surface of the cloth.

I particularly like the flashes of light from roads etc. in the night shot.
