Anna: The kids had their eye tests today. I sat in with our younger daughter and got this while we were waiting for the dr. to come in. I've always been fascinated by the feaky looking gadgets eye doctors get to use. :-DHe walked in as I was talking the picture. There was a time when I would've been embarrassed by that. Heck, I wouldn't have had the nerve to take the picture in the first place. Instead, I laughed while my daughter told him I was weird. :-D

I've seen these things up close, quite frequently over the years - it was neat to see them here on your blog, out of context for me.
I am getting less embarassed about taking pictures of 'strange' things in public too :)
How wonderful. A familiar gadget for me too. Good to see the detail (usually I'm wihtout my prescription, so everything's a bit blurry).
