‎We've been wondering if Finnigan thinks we're big cats or if he thinks he's a small furry person. As he dangles off of the end of the couch with his butt under a blanket, just sticking around for the company, I believe I have my answer...

Weather

‎This picture doesn't really do justice to the absolute wall of clouds that moved over Edmonton this morning. There was a clear, solid delineation right across. The sky and it went from end to end. The funny part is that after a few hours, we're sunny and clear again. :)

My baby turned 18 today.

She was delighted with her flaming mini cheese cake.

It was followed by a birthday pumpkin pie.

Then a birthday strawberry and whipped cream cheese cake.

Tomorrow,  her sister is taking her out for beer.

Awesome Clouds

We see some really awesome cloud formations, this time of year.

Sunshine and wires

‎I've got a thing for sunlight shots, and my daughter has a thing for wires. This, of course, translates into me taking every possible opportunity to combine both of those elements, and not always in a smart manner. This particular shot was taken from the middle of a road (I had to get the perfect angle, didn't I?) and only the almost non-existant traffic volume allowed me to take this without having a wonderfully polite interaction with an irritated driver.
