‎So, as always, I've completely forgotten about #MacroMonday until this very morning, which means I was once again digging through by backpack to see if I've got anything I can use. Today, it's my emergency sewing kit. :P

‎All right, I know I've done the pen before, but frankly, I love this thing. For the little amount of actual writing I actually do by hand, it's a wonder. It's now starting to look like a properly used pen, which means I'm running out of ink and am due to clean it up a bit :)

Such a beauty!

My daughter spotted this beautiful dragonfly on the edge of the sidewalk earlier today.  It allowed her to pick it up and hold it for quite a while.

I'm really pleased with the quality of photos from my phone.  I upgraded to the Galaxy S4 and, while it has some quirks and toys I don't like or want, I've been really happy with it overall.

The perks of morning walks...

‎Though I find the walks painful and uncomfortable, every once in a while they do have the odd side benefit. The only complaint I have is that I no longer have ready access to my favourite sunrise spot.

Piano Cat is Watching Me

The lights in the garland above him are coated with coloured Epsom Salts.

He likes to stand up and try to lick the one that hangs lowest.  This is his reaction when I stop him.
